Two reconnaissance jets of the Israeli Air Force (IASF) were seen flying across Hungary yesterday, approaching Budapest Airport twice but not landing, according to daily Magyar Nemzet.
Istvan Bocskai, spokesman for the Hungarian Ministry of Defense (HM), told the daily that the planes possessed diplomatic permission but declined to comment saying these were not issued by HM.
The Hungarian Foreign Ministry was also unavailable for comment, adding that such permits fall under the jurisdiction of the National Transport Authority (NKH), Magyar Nemzet reported.
The Israeli Air Force is the air force of the Israel Defense Forces, founded at the same time as the formation of the State of Israel.
*UPDATE*
Hungarian TV channel HirTV claims that the Israel Defense Ministry Spokesman has confirmed that a so-called ‘Hercules’ type cargo aircraft had approached Budapest Airport, and that IAF planes regularly enter Hungarian airspace.
The statements contradict Magyar Nemzet’s claim.
HirTV also claimed that Israeli Ambassador to Hungary Aliza Bin-Noun had referred to the planes as reconnaissance jets but denied the term ‘spy planes’.
The National Transport Authority declined to comment on the purpose of the Wednesday incursion.

And coincidentally a Syrian was assasinated at the same time in Budapest. Another Dubai? What a savage, warmongering state Israel has become.

Warmiongering? As compared to the Palestinians who killed the Israeli Olympians in Munich? Please. Get a life.

Israeli planes enter Hungarian airspace all the time. So every time that something violent happens to anyone from the Middle East while there’s an Israeli airplane (or even an Israeli) nearby, Israel must have done it?
Who even said there was an assassination, as opposed to an ordinary murder?

There seems to be quite a difference in the type of Israeli aircraft that were flying over Hungarian airspace. The picture in your article is clearly not a Hercules type aircraft as reported in the article. The known planes used by Israel are either converted 707s or Gulfstream aircraft which are not what the picture in your article portrays.
As for the Syrian assassinated in Budapest, even IF it was Israel it was against a very specific target instead of the indiscriminate missiles that the Arabs have used against Israel.
I’m waiting for someone to say that the traffic accident that happened near the airport was also as a result of the Israeli aircraft!

Hello Jack, the picture in this article is an illustration only, for the simple reason that the type of the aircraft still hasn’t been confirmed. Reports are contradictory about the other details of the story too, such as the so-called diplomatic permission, and especially the Syrian connection.

Seems all legit. Apparently, dear Hungarians, your government (whatever branch) hired those devious Israelis to do a recon (my guess would be topology and/or geology), probably because Israelis are good at it and it is less expensive.
Just look at the map. In order to fly in Hungarian territorial space, they had to fly over Turkey and Romania (or alternatively through Greece, Bulgaria and Romania), and had to have permits, let alone in Hungary. You just don’t fly someplace risking scramble of military jets to put you in a proper place (except Russians–they are big and “ikh mnogo” and if you shoot their plane down, more would come, “i shto, pochemu ty ubil nashey mashiny?”).
I know, it is tempting and titillating to indulge in conspiracy theories, but usually things are more mundane.

Theoretically, Israeli planes could fly over the Mediterranian and Adriatic and over a single country, Croatia, to reach Hungary.

Arabs in Budapest, 99% are up to no good, feel sorry for the guys family, but the standard dodgy group of petty criminals, money changers and hustlers tend to prune their numbers from time to time. Now the African’s, especially the Nigerians are lining up to take over the turf…… Oh well!!!
What is Israel doing flying into Hungarian airspace? The stupid Hungarian defense ministry is adding to the media speculation with their silence. I am sure some kind of pre election scandal will materialize out of this event!!! BREAD AND CIRCUS

Hungary is totaly into Jewish hands since a century , peoples cannot imagine…
You just have to dig it and studied in deep , it’s clear like water, coldly without hatred or passion, just the facts.
Hungarians and others nations of the world should open theirs eyes wide , stop playing the foolish game and understand what’s really going on at a world scale.
Jewish empire like others empire will crumble one day, it’s just maybee the last thanks God.
Jewish should all go back to Israel.

What gives Israel the right to enter any sovereign nation, whether it was a military fly over or putting troops on the ground? The present Hungarian government doesn’t trust it’s on troops?
